Bio Sculpture

What began as a childhood fascination with beautiful nails soon became a lifelong passion for Elmien. After graduating from CIDESCO Beauty Academy, she opened her first salon—only to find a lack of high-quality nail care products on the market. Determined to offer something better, she travelled to the USA to train in artificial nail systems. It was there she realised that the perfect product didn’t exist—so she set out to create it herself.

 

With a strong focus on both beauty and nail health, Elmien worked with top scientists and cutting-edge technology to create a completely new nail care solution. Her vision, combined with hard work and innovation, led to the creation of Bio Sculpture Gel—a brand that has since become a leader in nail care around the world.

 

Today, Bio Sculpture’s head office is nestled in the serene town of Clocolan in South Africa. Surrounded by natural beauty, the state-of-the-art 3000sqm facility is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring eco-friendly systems, self-sustained water storage, and abundant natural light. The factory is ISO 22716 certified for Good Manufacturing Practices and operates under ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

 

But Bio Sculpture is more than just a product—it’s a community. That same spirit of care, quality, and professionalism runs through every part of the Bio Sculpture family.

Driven by the same vision, Bio Sculpture Centurion & Gauteng East nail salons opened their doors in 1998. Since then, we’ve provided clients in Centurion and all across the East Rand with the same world-class Bio Sculpture treatment as was intended when the brand was first born.

Bio Sculpture SA (Pty) Ltd designs, develops manufactures and markets nail care, beauty products. We strive to adhere and maintain Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22716 in all aspects and stages of our business operations.  Bio Sculpture ensures that products, cosmetics and staff will comply with ISO 9001:2015 and also GMP ISO 22716.
